How do you monitor quality?

How do you guarantee hassle-free work?

The work is hassle-free because we maintain transparency in every level, starting from the procuring of material/s, payments and execution. Also, the same will be updated to the client/s on a regular basis. The Quality control team ensures that the quality is not compromised.

How do you commit on-time completion of project?

We will be issuing Project schedule of entire project and monthly schedule to track activity and the same will be monitored with our Engineers . The client/s can also review the same.

How comfortable is your payment process?

Our payments are very unique. We don’t take payments in stages; we take payments on an actual work so that client does not worry whether they are paying more than the actual work done. Also, we give cash flow details as per the work details.

How do we start?

First step would be to meet and understand the requirement and budget. Second, as per requirement, we will suggest design options till we get the final go-ahead from the client. Finally, the material is decided on and then the execution begins.

What are the designs provided to Customers?

We provide design related to the building – floor plan, elevation, electrical, plumbing, structure and furnishing.

Access Technician may assist you in obtaining required temporary electrical and water connections for provision of services at your cost.

How are the labors and their stay managed?

Labors and their stay are organized by Access Technician. As per the stay, labor sheds are set up on the site or at the nearest available site.

Who will select materials and how will it get delivered at site?

The structure materials we use are from reputed brands and will be used once approved by clients. All the finish materials will be finalized in presence of the client and our Architect. Once finalized, delivery of the materials will be coordinated and updated to the client through images.

What is the criteria for selecting Labor Team?

The selection of Labor Contractors involves a process and our experts make sure that only well-skilled labors are hired.

Do you have an in-house team?

Yes, we do have an in-house team of experienced Designers, Architects, Structural Engineer, Engineers, Site Supervisors and Quality Controller.

Who do we contact during work?

There will be a single point of contact i.e. the Relationship Manager or RM for any queries and updates to avoid the hassle of contacting multiple people for different issues.

How will the work force be assigned to a site?

There will be one Site Supervisor available at the site throughout the assignment. Quality Engineers will visit the site at regular intervals and Senior Engineers will be visiting the site twice a week. Designers and Architects will be visiting the site at the beginning of any new stage as well as per the site requirements.

Does the customer have to follow up the site regularly?

No, the client can enjoy a hassle-free process and visit the site only when required and for Plan Approvals.

How does the customer receive updates on the status of the site?

Our technically well-equipped team will share updates with the Client on a daily basis with the help of images.

What type of Construction method do you follow?

We follow Frame structure with plinth beam.

What precautions are taken for a termite attack?

Termite treatment is done at Floor level by pest controller.

What is the diameter of steel used for construction?

Normally, we use 8/10/12/16/20, but the same is decided based on the number of floors and the type of construction.

Is Structure Design shared with the customer ?

Yes, the client has access to the designs.

Which brick is used during Construction?

Both Red brick 9”thick table moulded and Block are used. However, we suggest the client to use Red Brick for individual house construction. The decision is purely based on the structure to be built.

Do you make a Water Sump?

Yes, we do make a Sump with partition for Cauvery, Borewell and other water sources. The same is decided based on the needs of the Client and site condition.

How about the quality of the Sump?

Access Technician shall also provide a ten year warranty on structure, ten year warranty on underground sump and one year warranty on seepage on all constructions services and six months general warranty on other IRC services rendered (conditions apply).

What if the sump leaks at a later stage?

Utmost care is taken to build a maintenance-free house but if any such leakage occurs, a team is rushed to the site and immediate action is taken. Furthermore, the site is inspected to avoid the same in future.

Will we get 3D views?

First 2D views are shared with the clients and then post approval 3D view is shared with the Client.

How do you share the schedules?

The client is provided with two Schedules, one is the entire Project Schedule and the other is the Monthly Schedule of work.

How is the project delay handled?

The occurrence of projects delays are very rare, however we mention penalty clause in the agreement and we stand by it strictly.

What is the post completion maintenance plan?

We provide one-year free maintenance.

What is the excavation depth for foundation?

Normally the fixed depth is 5-6 feet, however the same is decided only after a thorough soil test.

How many cities is Access Technician operational in?

We are currently present in Bangalore.

Are your Service Providers qualified ?

Absolutely! We only bring in professionals who have been recommended and certified by experts. We conduct interviews, check referrals, licenses, and do background checks on each and every service provider. Only those professionals who pass our strict onboarding process are allowed to work with Access Technician. All professionals are also required to complete an assessment test to verify their qualifications. Most of them have more than 8 years of experience in his/her field.

What happens if the Service Provider damages anything?

Does someone have to be home when the Service Provider comes?

Yes, it is advisable for you to be around when the job is getting done. You are requested to take care of your personal belongings or valuables in the presence of our Service Providers. Access Technician will not be liable for any damage or theft arising in case of failure to do so.

What happens if the Service Provider does not arrive on time?

We immediately arrange for a replacement and schedule a time convenient to you to do the job or register a cancellation of the service requested. You can track the location of all our Service Providers using the Access Technician App on your phone. This would let you know how far the Service Provider is from the customer’s home.

What happens in case the requested job takes more time than expected?

We at Access Technician understand that your time is valuable and are always striving to limit the time spent by Service Providers at your home. However the agents are trained to update you if the job might take longer than expected. Please do expect a buffer of half an hour more or less than the stated time to complete the task.

How do i reschedule a job booked on Access Technician?

Do i have to organize supplies or would the Service Provider bring his own?

All supplies would be purchased by the Service Provider after consulting with you. We would assume basics such as ladder and cleaning cloth be available at your home. A bill would be provided for all the purchases made by the Service Provider.

Can i place a service request without registering on your site?

While we highly recommend you register with us first, you could place a service request on our app/site without registering with us. You do not have to worry about unnecessary calls or messages from us. We have a strict policy against that practice.

How are the professionals rated?

After each service is completed, our customers are asked to rate the service on different parameters and judge the overall satisfaction of the service. You would also be allowed to rate a provider based on some parameters through our app if the service was requested from the app.

What if I am not happy with the service or the service provider?

If you do have any complaints, suggestions or feedback with regard to the service quality, or our service provider, pricing etc please report it to our Customer Support Desk at +91 9731 91-91-30or mail us at contact@Access Technician.com. It is advised to do this within 24hrs of your service.

How do you place an order on the Access Technician App?

Placing an order on the Access Technician App is fast and simple Steps: 1)Once you open the App on your smartphone, choose the service you would like to order 2)Enter your exact requirement along with a schedule that works best for you. 3)The service provider will then arrive at your home and fix the issue. Our team might also call you before the visit.

How do i download the App?

Go to the Google App store and search for Access Technician. The App is free to download. We're also working on an app for iOS as you read this.

Are there any benefits of using the app?

Absolutely! Our experience on mobile is among the best! It's as easy as Book, Schedule & Relax. Book a service, schedule a time and relax while the job gets done at your home by our expert team. Additionally, there will be offers that are exclusive to the app from time to time. There are many other exciting features that you will soon see on your app in the coming weeks. I can't view my oders, appointments in the app?

You need to ensure that you've signed in with your email id that was used to place the orders to see them in the app. All orders that you place with us are tied to the email that you provide against the order.

Payment Related

What are the modes of payment?

You can now opt to pay using online payment options including credit card, debit card and netbanking. We however, would highly recommend the wallet mode of payment. As always, you could choose to pay us by cash after the service.

Can I not pay by cash?

Ofcourse, you can. Just select the 'Cash' tab and select the checkbox in the payment screen.

How does the wallet work?

All the Access Technician Money that you've earned along with your wallet balance powered by our wallet partner Citrus would enable the wallet payment. Your Access Technician Money (received from Access Technician as cashback or via other offers) is valid only for 60 days from the time you’ve earned it. So be sure to use it within 60 days of earning it. Keep an eye out to know the ways to earn Access Technician Money!

I don't see the payment screen. Am I doing something wrong?

Payment option is shown only in the case of an order where the total price of the order is known. For services that either need an inspection or have a variable pricing, the payment option will not be available as the final amount of the order is yet to be determined. We're working on a solution to allow payment after the job.

How do I pay from my wallet if my balance is insufficient?

You can always top up your wallet from the payment screen to top up your wallet balance and then proceed to pay. It is advisable to have your wallet sufficiently funded for a seamless experience.

How safe is my card information with you?

We work with certified and experienced partners in managing your confidential information including saved cards among others. Your information is saved in an encrypted form and information sent over secure channels. Your information is therefore safe and secure.

Can I pay for an order using 2 different payment modes?

We do not support this currently. However, we plan to support this shortly in the weeks to come.

We fit ourselves into your crazy schedules, and leave you looking good & feeling relaxed!.

Do you carry everything along?

Yes, we carry everything that is required. You don't need to worry about a thing. All you need to do is sit back, relax and let us do our job.

Are your products and brands of good quality?

We personally undertake the sourcing of all the materials & products that are being used for the services. All our products go through a round of quality check before being used by our Beauty Advisors. L'oreal, Crsitine Valmy, SeaSoul Cosmetics are a few of the brands we use. We only use the best in quality products to provide you the best in quality service.

Is it safe to have the Beauty Experts at my home?

Yes. We run an all-round check on all our Beauty Experts before inducting them into our operations and ensure that their details reach you much before the job starts. However, you are requested to take care of your personal belongings or valuables in the presence of our Beauty Advisors. Access Technician will not be liable for any damage or theft arising in case of failure to do so.

What are your work timings?

Yes. We run an all-round check on all our Beauty Experts before inducting them into our operations and ensure that their details reach you much before the job starts. How qualified are your Beauty Experts?

All our Beauty Experts have a minimum of 5 years of work experience. Additionally, Access Technician ensures they go through regular training sessions to further hone their skills. Our Beauty Experts are experts in various fields, like hair, skin, make up etc.

Do you have any additional travel/delivery charges apart from the prices listed on the website?

No, there are no additional charges. All our prices are inclusive of travel, delivery, materials etc.

Do you cater to men too?

Unfortunately right now we don't. Currently, we are a for-women, by-women service only.

Can I use my own materials for the service?

We generally advise you not to use your own products, as most of our services require professional products, which are not easily available to the customers. The only exception we make is with Henna, for your hair, since it has to be cured overnight.

Do your SPs follow GPS?

We currently do not use GPS. If you provide us the complete details of your address, along with landmarks, chances are our Beauty Experts will reach on time and your service will start on time.

What do I do if I am not happy with the service or the Beauty Expert?

If you do have any complaints, suggestions or feedback with regard to the service quality, beauticians’ hygiene, product quality, pricing etc please report it to our Customer Support Desk at +91 9731 91-91-30or mail us at contact@Access Technician.in. It is advised to do this within 24hrs of your service.

Can I request for a specific Beauty Expert for my services?

Preferences of specific Beauty Expert or products have to be informed to us at least 2-3 hours prior to the scheduled Service time. We would let you know the feasibility of accommodating the preference before your service time subject to availability.

Can I add additional services or take up services for the family/friends on a pre-booked service once the beautician reaches?

Adding of ad-hoc services/new services for additional customers during the service time would be accommodated based on the schedule of the Beauty Advisor on site & availability of products.

Can I cancel or reschedule the service anytime?

We recommend that you cancel or reschedule at least two hours before the scheduled service time.

Will it make me fairer?

It will give you an even skin tone as it changes the color of the facial fuzz to the same color as your skin. hence, no lighter/ darker patches are left on the skin.

What is the difference between bleaching & detanning?

Detan is a milder form of bleaching. It is a little softer on the skin. If you haven't bleached your skin before, start with detanning.

Body Polish

How long does it take?

30-45 mins is the normal duration of a session.

What are the effects of body polishing?

Body polishing exfoliates, hydrates and removes the dead skin cells from your body. It leaves your skin soft, smooth & giving it an even tone.

Clean Up & Facials

How is it different from a Facial?

A clean up is a more basic form of a facial. It is usually recommended for younger skin, aged upto 35yrs. Also a typical cleanup does not include a pack.

Do you carry a steamer, disposable gowns & black head removers with you?

Yes we carry whatever is required for the service.

Do you sanitize your equipments before every service?

Yes, they are sanitised & washed in an antiseptic solution before every use. Safety & Hygiene is a priority for us too.

How do I know which facial to choose?

The kind of facial that you pick is purely dependent on your skin type. For instance, if you have normal skin, you could opt for our whitening/radiance facial. If you are not sure about your skin type, you can check your T-Zone an hour after you have cleansed your face.

Are your stylist hair experts too?

Yes, we have stylists that are experts in hair. Our Hair Stylists are not only experienced but also trained by some of the best brands in the industry .

How long will the styling last?

It will last till the time you don’t wash your hair.

Hair Care

What if i am not too sure about what colour or style suits my hair? Can i have a consult?

Yes absolutely! If you are unsure about what to get done, we can arrange a consult for you with our top hair stylist so that all your doubts are cleared before the actual booking.

How long will the color last?

Depends purely on your hair growth & the after care of the hair. But in general, the colour begins to fade in about 4-6 weeks.

I just colored my hair.Should I go for a Hair Spa?

It is usually recommended to leave a 15 day gap between Hair Colour & a Hair Spa.

Makeup & Bridal Packages

Can i use my own makeup & nail paints?

Yes you can use your own products, if that makes you more comfortable. Incase something is missing, our Beauty Experts will have it, as they carry everything required for the service.

What is the difference between Basic & Party Makeup?

Basic is everyday, subtle, natural looking, light makeup, with more of nudes & mattes best suited for a casual evening out. Party Makeup is vibrant, full faced, shimmery & bold more suited for weddings. A little bit more elaborate than our Basic Makeup.

What is the difference between Bridal Makeup & Bridal Makeover?

Basic is everyday, subtle, natural looking, light makeup, with more of nudes & mattes best suited for a casual evening out. Party Makeup is vibrant, full faced, shimmery & bold more suited for weddings. A little bit more elaborate than our Basic Makeup.

Can you drape a saree in any style i want?

Bridal Makeover is a package that includes makeup, hair styling & saree draping- basically taking care of the entire look of the bride. Whereas , the Bridal makeup, as the name suggests, is only getting the brides makeup done.

Can i get a trial session before the wedding day, so that i know what works best for me?

We don't want you to take any chances for your special day. So, you can opt for a trial session at a nominal cost so you can decide and see what works best for you.

Would you also do the makeup for my bridesmaids if i wanted it done?

Absolutely! You can opt for the Party makeup package for your bridesmaids, friends & family.

Do you carry special pedicure tubs?

Yes, we carry pedicure tubs with us.

Straightening / Smoothening

How long will my hair stay straight?

This is completely dependant on your hair growth. However on an average it lasts for about 6 months.

How do I decide what is apt for my hair - straightening OR smoothening?

This depends entirely on what you want. If you have very curly hair and want completely straight & easy to handle hair opt for straightening. On the other hand , if you just want to improve the hair texture and make it slightly more manageable, opt for smoothening.

I just colored my hair. Can I straighten it now?

For the product to work on your hair, you have to wait AT LEAST a month after coloring it to straighten it. It can otherwise lead to damaged hair. This works vice versa too.

Yes we carry wax heaters with us.

How is Access Technician’s Deep Cleaning service different from our day-to-day home cleaning?

Your day to day cleaning is limited to sweeping and mopping of the floors, where one tends to ignore the nooks, crevices and corners of the house. More often than not your regular cleaning does not take care of deep grime and stains. Our Deep Cleaning service provides thorough cleaning, covering every corner of your house with extensive focus on removal of stains and hard water marks. Our endeavor is to give your home, a spa-like treatment, with the help of a professionally trained crew, equipped with state of the art machinery and eco-friendly chemicals (Taski®).

What are the services provided under Deep Cleaning?

The list of services included in Deep Cleaning are given below , however it may vary depending on the room in your house that’s being serviced (Living room, Bathroom, Kitchen etc: 1)Scrubbing of floors using machinery 2)Vacuuming the entire house & upholstery (curtains, AC, etc. 3)Dusting & wiping of the furniture - top, front and underneath 4)Cleaning of fans, light fixtures, windows, window sills, ledges etc. 5)Dusting of walls and removing cobwebs 6)Scrubbing the wall tiles & stain removal (Bathroom, Kitchen) 7)Descaling water taps – using special cleaning agents (Bathroom, Kitchen) 8)Emptying unwanted waste materials & garbage out. 9)Finish off by sanitizing and disinfecting the living areas – using eco friendly chemicals

What is the duration of a Deep Cleaning service?

A typical full home Deep Cleaning service can take anywhere between 6-8 hours depending on the size of the apartment & the amount of dirt.

Why is Deep Cleaning expensive - as compared to regular cleaning service?

Deep Cleaning is slightly more expensive compared to regular cleaning because of the depth and thoroughness of the service. The service is carried out by a professionally trained cleaning crew who use state of the art machinery and eco-friendly chemicals (Taski®). The rates are inclusive of transportation cost and service tax as per Government policies.

How often should I get Deep Cleaning done for my home?

To keep your home sanitized & clean, we recommend Deep Cleaning service once every 4 months.

What is not included in Deep Cleaning of the house?

Even though Deep Cleaning is an extensive exercise, there a few things which are not included in the service. Major exclusions are: Sofa shampooing, mattress shampooing, utensil cleaning, washing clothes, cleaning the interiors of the kitchen appliances & personal wardrobes, chandeliers & clearing of construction debri. You can however book some of these services separately - like Sofa Shampooing, & Mattress Shampooing.

Do you offer warranty on your work?

Please inspect the premises post completion of Cleaning and if not happy, inform vendor immediately.

Do you use acids?

We do not use any form of acid for our cleaning services.

What is General Cleaning?

General Cleaning is our express service wherein our professionally trained crew does the entire cleaning in a matter of 2-3 hours. General Cleaning focuses on cleaning the dust, germs, cobwebs & is more of a manual cleaning.

What is not included in General cleaning?

Major exclusions are: Mechanized scrubbing of the floors, Sofa shampooing, mattress shampooing, stain removal, utensils cleaning, washing the clothes, cleaning the interiors of the kitchen appliances, kitchen closets & personal wardrobes, chandeliers & clearing of construction debri.

How often should I get General cleaning done for my home?

To keep your home clean, we recommend our General Cleaning service once every month.

When is an ideal time to get Deep Cleaning done for my house?

We recommend Deep Cleaning in the following cases: 1)Moving into a new house 2)Moving back into a house that has been shut for awhile 3)House that has been recently painted 4)Your Spring Cleaning time 5)Before any auspicious occasion (Housewarming, Diwali, Weddings etc.)

When is the ideal time to get General Cleaning done for my house?

We recommend General cleaning in the following cases: 1)To keep your home sanitized & hygienic 2)Before & after hosting a party at your house 3)As and when the occasion demands

Are there any cancellation charges?

If you inform us about the cancellation 12 hours prior to the scheduled slot, there is no cancellation charge. However, if there are any cancellations within the last 12 hours, we charge a cancellation fee up to 50% of the job value.

What about damages & theft of personal belongings?

Access Technician will not be responsible for any form of theft and damage in your house.Our crew is professionally trained, background verified & thoroughly checked, but you are advised to keep an eye on your belongings and also make sure that any sensitive material is carefully moved under your supervision. Also, when our team is leaving your premises, please make sure that you have thoroughly checked the entire home.

Are there any charges for inspection?

We charge a nominal fee between Rs. 100 to Rs.300 towards inspection charges. Please check the charges in your city while booking a job.

Are the professionals from Access Technician or a Third Party?

The professionals are contractual partners of Access Technician and are verified & trained.

Will you carry all equipment/products required for the service?

Yes, we will carry all the products/equipment required for the service. However we would need few things from you to carry out our services smoothly i.e, water, a working plug point & access to a wash basin/handwash.

Will they clean the external areas of the apartment/villa/house?

Balconies/Verandas can be cleaned at an additional charge which will be provided based on inspection.

Do you carry ladders?

We will carry a 5 ft ladder.

Would the prices change in case the area I specified at the time booking is lesser than the actual area?

If the area of the apartment/flat is more than what has been quoted/specified, additional charges will apply based on inspection.

What if I am not happy with the service or the service provider?

If you do have any complaints, suggestions or feedback with regard to the service quality, or our service provider, pricing etc please report it to our Customer Support Desk at +91 9731 91-91-30or mail us at contact@Access Technician.com. It is advised to do this within 24hrs of your service.

Why are your rates higher than that of the local Plumbers?

All our Plumbers are qualified and highly experienced professionals with proper background checks & verifications done, such that your safety is never compromised. Also we offer a 7 day warranty on our service. If the problem recurs within this time period, we will re-do the job free of cost.

Is it safe for me to allow your Plumber in my home?

It is absolutely safe for you to trust our Plumbers. All our Plumbers go through a round of background verification before being hired. Moreover, our Operations Team is always in constant touch with the Plumbers while the work is being done.

What are your work timings?

We operate between 9 a.m to 7 p.m, 7 days a week.

Do you offer 'before 9 AM' and 'post 7 PM' services?

Presently we do not offer a before 9 a.m or a post 7p.m service.

What are your rates?

We have rate cards visible on the APP and Web. Rate cards have prices for most of our services. For certain services, it is important for our Plumbers to make an inspection at your house, evaluate the scope of work and then give prices.

Do you offer warranty on your work?

What is the procedure for laptop/computer repair?

Once you schedule an appointment with us, one of our experts will come home to check your device. Mostly minor repairs are done at your place. However, if needed the device will be picked from your place and a quote provided within 24-48 hrs of pickup. You can then choose to either accept or reject the quote.

How do you charge?

Once your device has been picked up and the problem diagnosed an email quote is sent to you. The quote is completely dependent on the depth of the problem in your device.

What is inspection/visiting charge?

In case the device is not repairable, a minimum visiting charge might be applicable but the inspection charge is only applicable if the device is repairable and you choose to NOT go ahead with the repair after inspection.

Can i cancel a service once the job has started?

How quickly will i receive my device back?

How quickly you receive the device back is completely dependant on the depth of the problem, and will vary on case to case basis. However once you have accepted the quote you are given an approximate delivery date & time too.
